Pros and cons to each really, depends on how much you carry, or rather in my case, want to carry. Having said that, the TP2 Small is my EDC but only because I have the build and need to carry a hefty desktop-replacement type laptop. Don't know if I'll pick it up, as the CP regular does it's job well in forcing me to think, "What do I really need to take with me?"īut don't get me wrong, still enjoy my FP3. While the TP2 Small is do-able as an EDC, I would say that these travel-centric packs are overkill for daily use, weighing a little too much and generally being over-engineered. Good for keeping bulkier items or spare clothes. Same profile as the CP but now with a large separate compartment. They recently released the City Pack Pro. ![]() ![]() Because there's more slack, it can look a bit, frumpy? But I chose function over style really. It has more room to manuver, where as I had to squeeze my hands in to reach items in the front compartment in the bottom. When I did notice my items kind of multiplying (very much contrary to EDC lifestyle) I opted for the FP3. If I want to be more form fitting and cleaner looking, I'll take the CP. I have the TP2 and Flight pack 2 in X pac, I am pretty committed to going all X pac from here on out. The zippers could be annoying on a smaller/lighter item like a sling, requiring two hands to open it. ![]() The zippers are a little stiffer, but not to the point that it is annoying in a bag. 100% agree the CP is much cleaner, since you have to plan out what you taking. The water resistance is legit on the X-pac.
